General Information of COMIC SQUARE 8

GENERAL INSTUCTION

  • COMIC SQUARE only allows visitors to take photos and record video in the foyer area. (in front of the hall entrance) Photography and video recording are strictly not allowed inside the hall.
  • On the morning of the showday, there may be a large number of visitors queuing up, which causes later visitors to be unable to enter the hall as soon as they arrive at the venue. Visitors please allow enough time for traveling and queuing and plan ahead
  • On the day of the event, there may be oversea circles that cannot accept Thai QR code payments Thai bank transfer. Visitors should prepare cash if they wish to purchase products from foreign circles.
  • The wristband can be used to enter and exit the event area for unlimited times and there is no limit to the length of time visitors stay in the convention area.
  • Wristbands must be worn on the wrist only. Please keep your wristband intact and do not remove, cut, peel off, tear, or damage it until the event has concluded, or until you are certain that you will not re-enter the event area.
  • Visitors are prohibited from handing out flyers or product samples, hold or set up advertising signs, peddle sales, set up stalls, use space, chairs, and/or tables to sell goods and carry out any commercial activities without permission from the staffs. If found, they will be fined 10 times the regular 1SP circle booth rental rate and asked to leave the area with a wristband forfeited.
  • COMIC SQUARE is operated by COMIC SQUARE staffs, with joint operation with assigned security guards and venue staffs. All staffs mentioned will wear noticeable uniforms. Please do not trust anyone who does not wear a STAFF badge or a uniform and who pretends to be COMIC SQUARE Staff or claims to have a relationship with the organizer.
  • Please kindly follow the instructions and cooperate with COMIC SQUARE staffs, security guards, and venue staffs.
  • In the case of emergency or general information inquiry, our staffs are always happy to assist you. During the showday, there will be staff in the following positions.
    • Box Office
    • Information Counter (Lost & Found corner is also here)
    • Hall entrance/exit
    • Staff Desks inside the hall
    • Throughout the convention, there will be staffs patrolling around area at all times. You can notice the STAFF badge and the uniforms of COMIC SQUARE staffs.

  1. Circles and visitors can cosplay at the convention.
  2. Please refrain from sitting, gathering in groups, occupying space, putting on makeup, dressing or preparing cosplay equipment outside the event area.
  3. Please dress in your costume from your accommodation before arriving at the venue. Or, spend as little time as possible dressing up in the venue to share the space with fellow attendees.
  4. Do not cut or trim wigs in the bathroom.
  5. Please refrain from taking photos, recording videos, or live-streaming the walkway, in front of the booth circle and exhibitors, and any area that disturbs other attendees.
  6. The use of all types of weaponry and imitation weapons such as guns, swords, grenades, spears, lances, knives, etc. is strictly prohibited. If you bring them, you will not be able to enter shopping centers, the electric train system, and many public places.
  7. Military and police uniforms from all countries and eras are prohibited.
  8. Please refrain from wearing props that are more than 80 cm in width including the torso, such as wings, armor, skirts, and headgear, and, refrain from wearing inflatable suits and rigid suits such as dinosaur suits and mascot suits.
  9. Please refrain from bringing cosplay equipment that is larger or longer than 30 cm into the event area as it may disturb other attendees. In the case that you bring in large equipment, our staffs may need to ask for it to be left outside the hall. COMIC SQUARE cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses that occurs with your equipment.
  10. Please refrain from posing and taking photos in sexually suggestive or inappropriate positions in public.
  11. Please refrain from taking cosplay photos outside of the event venue as it is beyond the area permitted to COMIC SQUARE to use.
  12. Please take care of your belongings yourself. Your equipment and belongings should not be left in common areas as they may disturb other attendees and may loss.
  13. Please understand that COMIC SQUARE allows cosplay for the sole purpose of allowing attendees to enjoy the atmosphere of the comic event. Please refrain from taking project photos or gatherings for other activities. If you wish to take photos for purposes other than personal use. You must request permission in writing from the property owner in advance.

REFUND POLICY

  1. Every visitor is responsible for wearing a wristband on his/her wrist to show their right to enter the convention. If the wristband is removed, cut, torn, or destroyed by a visitor without a defect from the wristband manufacturer or by the staffs, visitor will no longer be able to enter the convention area within the hall. If he/she wishes to visit the convention again, he/she is required pay for a new wristband and cannot request a refund for the wristband that was destroyed by himself/herself.
  2. After the wristband has been used, visitor will not be able to request a refund under any circumstances. , regardless of whether he/she have entered the convention or not.
  3. For visitors who purchase tickets online from Ticketmelon (or another service provider designated by COMIC SQUARE), cancellation and refund conditions are as specified by the service provider.
  4. After the convention time has ended, any visitor will not be able to request a refund in all cases even if the wristband is unused or the online ticker is not redeemed.
